The track of my last summer!
3/ G.C Cameron – Live For Love [Soundway]
“If I Love You“ is a disco/modern soul banger performed by the lead singer of the legendary soul group The Spinners. G.C Cameron has been a key singer of Motown team before to fly alone in the beginning of 80’s. It is in 1980 where is released the single “Live for Love / If I Love You” in the independant records imprint Flamingo. Very hard to find record that’s why this single reissue by Soundway is a very good news.
Love is the answer!
4/ Jéroboam – Turn Down The Lights [Space Grapes]
A pure disco track produced by Parisian funk band Jéroboam, also known as Echoes Of, in tradition of NYC production and released on Danilo Plessow’s Space Grapes records.

7/ Onegram – Trans Europe Express (Dj Koco Edit) [Jazz Room]
The japanese musicians are the king of covers and this interpretation of Kraftwerk classic is a good example!
The super funky version of the mega hit “Trans Europe Express” with it’s freaked out sax and supercool vocals is a special mix by Dj Koco aka Shimokita
“AEO” the flipside is a longtime David Mancuso Loft classic.
8/ Byron The Aquarius feat. Coto Loco and Computer Jay – Mind Disasterrrr [Mother Tongue]
I’m a big follower of Atlanta based producer Byron The Aquarius and it’s a new step of his unique electronic-jazz-fusion touch. Space Is The Place for sure.
The a:side with Deenamic track is beautiful too as all the Yellow Jackets serie featuring At Jazz, Mark De Clive Lowe, Other Lands, Marcellus Pittman, Ron Trent, Patric Scott and more

Italien dj and producer Simone Vescovo alias Simoncino remixed by two legendary producers.

10/ Tal Fussman – Children Of 95 [Innervisions]
This Ep incorporates elements of soul and funk, infusing warmth and emotion into an unpolished sound universe that creates a unique sonic texture based on minimalism and space. Techno is a continiuum of soul music., you know that?
